Naynat

Naynat is a botanical (0.3% Azadiractin) based product for the control of pests like caterpillars, sucking pests like aphids, thrips, spider mites, whiteflies, and mealybugs that also transmit viral diseases to agricultural crops.

Viral Diseases controlled: Yellow Mosaic Virus, Leaf Curl Virus, Yellow Leaf Curl Virus, Spotted wilt Virus, Iris yellow spot virus, etc.

Dosage:  1.0 lit/acre

2.5 lit/ha.

Mode of Action:

It acts as an antifeedant, repellant, insect growth regulator and prevents egg-laying. It helps protect the plant from a viral infection, by controlling the sucking pests, leaf miners, thrips, spider mites, whiteflies, and caterpillars.

Application:

Foliar Application: It can be applied as a foliar spray prophylactically and, curatively against insect pests.

Time and number of application: Two sprays

1st spray- 30 days after planting

2nd spray – 45 days after planting

The benefit of the application does is dependent on the progress of pest infestation and the proper time of treatment.
